a short passage on the overhead and explain to students that drawing conclusion is based on both prior knowledge and what
has been read. The teacher will explain to students that inference is just another
word for conclusion.
Students will complete story web with details to create conclusion about
a passage.
Students will work with a partner to determine the conclusion of a passage.
Student will complete independent activity.
